Chevening Scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees in the UK. They are fully-funded, leaving students free to focus on achieving their professional goals and maximising the experience of a lifetime. Recipients get the chance to live and study in the UK for a year, during which time they will develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with the UK. Chevening are looking for applicants who have the passion and influence to solve pressing local, national, or global challenges.

Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year open on 5 August 2025 and close on 7 October 2025.

Cranfield University supports Chevening and every year, we have a number of successful scholarship recipients, who choose to come to complete their postgraduate studies with us. If you are interested in applying for a Chevening Scholarship, we’d like to help you as much as we can. Our webinar, led by Diane Blything, Assistant Registrar for Student Funding at Cranfield University will share her experience of the scholarships and any top tips that we have to help you. We’ll give you an overview of life at Cranfield and what choosing our specialist, postgraduate only institution could mean for you.

We are delighted that Victoria Iyobhebhe from Chevening will be joining Diane, to give you application advice from their perspective as well.

You’ll also have the chance to hear from our current, successful 2024/025 Chevening Scholars, hear all about their Cranfield University experience and their inspiring journeys.
